My approach to supervision is not static. Instead, it is very interactive and engaging. Although we will discuss therapy modalities, my supervision is primarily based on how to identify and help you grow your style as a new therapist. I provide you with guidance on maintaining the highest ethical standards.
We also discuss what going into private practice (solo/group) looks like and if that is a viable option for you and/or how to flourish in community agency work. In addition, we dive deep into your goals (short/long-term) for supervision, plans post-licensure, self-care routines, case consultation, your overall challenges, strengths and more.
I am an approved clinical supervisor (ACS) for those seeking LPC in PA licensure &/or certification for the Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) in PA and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in NY.
